Noona’s year started wonderfully. On 29 January, Noona was chosen in Health Awards 2016 as the Health Innovation of the Year in Finland. The essential criteria for the award were the improvements made in patient care, cost savings, and commercial potential in global markets.
”Noona gives cancer patients a genuine chance to take an active role in helping their own treatments to succeed. The service has been created in a very modern way that touches and engages the patients. Moreover, it promises efficiency improvements in cancer clinic operations, by focusing the attention of care professionals to the patents who need their support the most. Focusing the hospital resources effectively improves both patient satisfaction and hospital cost-effectiveness. Noona is a leading pioneer in automatizing healthcare processes” said Petri Parvinen, the Professor of Strategic Marketing and Management in Aalto University.
“The award is a fantastic recognition for our whole team, who have all worked for achieving success professionally and full-heartedly. It brings us fuel at the exactly right moment, now that we are on track to deploy major expansions to Noona. During this spring, Noona will expand to all cancer types and all treatment phases” says Jani Ahonala, the CEO of Noona Healthcare.
