Slush is the biggest start-up event in Europe bringing together 15 000 entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers and business leaders from around the globe. Noona was awarded Best Mobile Service 2015 in the eHealth category. “It is particularly satisfying to see Finnish start-ups aim directly for global markets and developing their solutions accordingly.” commented Anne Berner, Finnish Minister of Transport and Communications.
Noona’s Chairman Jani Ahonala was invited as one of the key-note speakers at the Future of Healthcare sessions on Thursday sharing the stage with Steven Krein (Startup Health), Matthew Holt (Health 2.0) and Oliver Meeker (IBM Watson). Noona’s story attracted lots of attention among investors and health care policy makers.
“Slush is in many ways an important event for us. Apart from all the great contacts, inspirational conversations and valuable feedback, it makes me particularly proud to see all these visionary people take the time to travel to Helsinki from around the globe.” says Jani Ahonala. “Moreover, it gladdens me that healthcare seems to be where a lot of the action is at the moment.”
