Noona Healthcare´s team had intensive but rewarding three weeks at a US roadshow beginning from the end of September. The results of our roadshow were extremely desirable. We managed to create good connections and had several dozens of meetings with potential investors, cancer centers and Pharma management in Silicon Valley, New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. During our trip we also took part in industry events together with Team Health Finland.
After the roadshow it is clear to say that there is an unmet need for Noona in the US market.
-Diagnosis of new cancer cases are increasing rapidly. In the next 15 years there will be a 50 % increase in new cancer cases. People are aging, patients are diagnosed earlier and a new generation of cancer treatments are increasing the number of cancer survivors. There will be over 20 million cancer survivors in the US alone. This poses a major challenge for cancer centers. Noona offers a simple solution for these challenges, explains Jani Ahonala, co-founder of Noona Healthcare.
The US roadshow confirmed our belief that we have developed the world’s most advanced remote monitoring solution in cancer care. It is now well acknowledged that the real world evidence captured in Noona is truly unique. No one actually knows how patients are doing during recovery and this data is the missing link in cancer care.
Overall we are extremely pleased with the results of our trip. We have already started organizing our next roadshow in the US and our calendars are filling up with follow-up meetings. Our goal is to start the first pilot co-operation with a US-based cancer center by the end of the year. It is extremely important for us to be close to our potential partners, explains Ahonala.
